Privacy policy

Michael Knight Golf Coaching (“we”, “us”) provides one-on-one golf coaching in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

When you request a free discovery call, the form asks for your name, email address and phone number. We only collect what you choose to submit.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your request: to contact you, arrange your discovery call and, if you choose to work together, to schedule and deliver coaching. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who helps us

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep your request only as long as we need it to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide coaching and meet our legal and business obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

How we protect it

Information you submit travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is accessible only to Michael. We take reasonable steps to protect it against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Your choices

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. Email us at [EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days. If you have concerns we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
